Jason's Friends Foundation has an important mission: to assist families of children suffering from brain or spinal cord tumors and other cancers by providing advocacy, helping hands, and encouragement in the face of despair. Inspired by the life of Jason Eades, the foundation was established in 1996 and has been helping families deal with the financial and emotional costs associated with childhood cancers.
Having a child with cancer is an enormous emotional and financial burden on any family. After a child is diagnosed with cancer, families must suddenly face unexpected medical bills, travel expenses and other financial hardships. Most of the time, social services don't kick in until a family has lost everything. Before Jason's Friends was established, there was no organized help for these families in Wyoming. Jason's Friends ensures that Wyoming families won't lose everything they own simply because they have had the misfortune to have a child with cancer.
Jasonsfriends.com is meant to be a starting place for those seeking more information about childhood cancers and for those who wish to help. Thank you for visiting our site, and be sure to let us know if you have any questions or comments regarding our work or our mission.
